Who to watch at Green Man 2018

Jane Weaver

Jane Weaver's extensive musical career has taken many paths -from singer in 90's  britpop band Kill Laura, to record label owner, it is now her mesmerising identity as a singer songwriter and performer which has lead her to captivate crowds of recent. Whilst Weaver has been releasing solo material for over a decade, it is her 2017 album release, Modern Kosmology that embodies the catchy funk laced electronica which makes her an artist worthy of an upbeat, up-for-anything audience.

Goat Girl

Off the back of their American tour supporting Texan based Parquet Courts, Goat Girl return to the 2018 festival circuit with a stunning debut under their belt and an incredible catalogue of live experience. Punchy and beautifully brash- Goat Girl take the worlds worries and woes and throw them into 2 minute chunks of delight.

Cate Le Bon
Hailing from Wales herself, singer songwriter Cate Le Bon returns to home territory to play this years Green Man Festival. Romantically stricken narratives that avoid cliche, Le Bon is an artist that is easy to listen to and even easier to watch live.

Frankie Cosmos

Frankie Cosmos is the band fronted and formed by American artist, Greta Kilne. Garage rock which is laced with quietly chilling vocals, Kilne's stories are ones about a range of subjects from Korean food and losing love to animals and evening dresses. Kilne has previously worked and collaborated with the likes of Porches. Frankie Cosmos seldom tour the UK, and whilst Kilne professes that 'she's the kinda girl buses splash with rain' we hope for all together better weather at the festival!

Kelly Lee Owens

Kelly Lee Owens is techno meets production perfection. Music which would not be out of place at a 6am Berghain set amidst leather clad party animals- each song builds to a point of complete euphoria.
Performing solo with just a small setup and laptop to hide behind, Kelly Lee Owens is vulnerable on stage yet completely confident. Her songs are littered with subtle vocals but it is the production that shakes her sound into full fruition.
